Named President
Criminal defense lawyer Richard Keith of Montgomery was recently named President of the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association at its Annual Meeting and Summer Seminar in Pensacola, Florida.
Mr. Keith was admitted to the practice of law in 1990 after graduating from Jones School of Law in 1989. He has been a solo practitioner since 1990 and is the managing partner of the law firm of Keith & Dubin, P.C. in Montgomery. His primary focus of practice is criminal defense. Mr. Keith has represented more than 60 defendants charged with capital murder. He is Past President of the Montgomery County Trial Lawyers Association, a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and serves as a CJA Panel Attorney for the Montgomery Federal Defenders Office.
